What youll be doing

Welcome to Boots Digital an exciting team within Boots UK. This team is at the heart of our growth plans as more customers look to us for online help advice and shopping inspiration. As customers are changing so are we: focusing on really understanding our customers needs and making the most of our great products and services to optimise the online shopping experience and deliver growth targets.

The Digital Brand Lead will advocate for their suppliers brands across the categories in which it plays on . They optimise the customer journey for each of their specific brands to ensure they show up brilliantly across all relevant touchpoints on to help achieve sales and growth targets for each category.

You will report into the Ecommerce Trading Manager and work with multiple other partners and departments across the business including Optimisation Trading Digital Experience Supply and Marketing. We base the role in our Nottingham office however we may require travel to London to liaise with brand partners on occasion.

Main responsibilities

  • Measure and reporting on main ecommerce metrics for your brands whilst driving overall revenue and profit performance by ensuring the digital execution plan is as strong as possible.

  • Coordinate and optimise online launches for any new products or range from each brand whilst working with trading and marketing on support plans

  • Utilise both Boots and supplier insights to analyse and understand customer behaviour product trends and market information to help influence decisions and make recommendations for the annual plan

  • Optimise the digital execution of main brand campaigns throughout the calendar year whether value-led or inspirational

  • Work with multiple teams and individuals across and the wider business. I seek out best practice and support from subject matter experts such as those in design digital marketing product set-up and supply.

  • Co-ordinate multiple partners to ensure the delivery of campaigns and brand optimisation programs.

  • Building relationships with the main brand contacts themselves is crucial.

  • Managing the supplier relationship on involves frequent communication on several aspects including sales performance reporting strategic planning daily range maintenance online and campaign optimisation.

  • Full financial performance reporting on a weekly monthly and ad hoc interim basis; you will analyse performance drivers and identify risks and opportunities.

What youll need to have (our must-haves)

  • The digital experience involves working in an ecommerce role. Alternatively it requires being able to demonstrate an active interest in ecommerce. This interest should be accompanied by a strong understanding of online trading levers and performance marketing. The ideal candidate is confident in using data and insight to drive performance. They should also be confident in building and delivering plans.

  • Trading experience with strong financial acumen able to analyse interpret and articulate financial performance

  • Cross functional working a focus on brilliant delivery and relationship building are key as you will be working with a broad set of stakeholders

  • High attention to detail and the ability to be adaptable

  • Must be highly organised enthusiastic and resourceful and the ability to make decisions in a fast paced and complex environment

  • Clearly communicate timelines tasks and deadlines to all stakeholders highly proactive and the able to prioritise multiple tasks with minimum supervision

  • Experience using digital analytics tools (like GA4 ContentSquare Similar Web) would be highly beneficial but not essential
