We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resource & Administrative Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise all human resource and administrative activities of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Functions
- Implement and monitor Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Manage recruitment selection onboarding and orientation processes.
- Administer employee performance management systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Administer compensation payroll and total reward systems.
- Manage employee grievances and disciplinary matters in line with the Ghana Labor Act 2003 (Act 651).
- Collaborate with Heads of Departments to address workforce planning and human capital needs.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate employee capacity-building initiatives.
- Process workmens compensation claims.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including the Labor Department Factory Inspectorate CHRAJ SSNIT and other regulatory bodies.
- Prepare monthly HR and administrative reports.
Administrative Functions
- Plan and coordinate administrative systems and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Ensure effective communication and implementation of management policies across departments.
- Plan and coordinate meetings conferences training sessions and official events.
- Represent or interface on behalf of the Company at meetings when assigned.
- Liaise with departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure adequate office supplies and proper maintenance of office equipment.
- Evaluate administrative processes and implement continuous improvement measures.
- Stay updated on organizational changes and business developments.
- Handle other administrative assignments as directed.
Academic Requirements
- Bachelors degree in human resource management or related field from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management will be an advantage.
- Professional certification (CIPD CIHRM SHRM PHR etc.) is an added advantage.
Working Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in Human Resource roles.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.
Required Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Good knowledge of the Ghana Labor Act 2003 (Act 651).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive and results oriented.
