Their Ghana operation is a critical growth market and they are investing in commercial leadership to capture expanding demand.
The Role
This is a commercially-driven Account Manager position responsible for managing and growing client relationships across Ghana. You will serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients drive revenue through consultative selling of cybersecurity solutions and represent the organisation at industry events and roundtables.
This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Own and grow a portfolio of client relationships across government financial services and enterprise sectors in Ghana
Identify client security needs and architect appropriate solution recommendations from the firms cybersecurity services portfolio
Drive revenue performance through new client acquisition upselling and cross-selling with clear sales targets
Serve as the face of the organisation at industry events conferences and client meetings
Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure seamless service execution and sustained client satisfaction
Candidate Profile
35 years of experience in account management business development or sales within IT telecommunications or cybersecurity
Strong understanding of cybersecurity services solutions and the West African enterprise landscape
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Proactive trustworthy resilient and an exceptional communicator with strong relationship-building capability
Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field
Professional certifications in sales account management or cybersecurity are an advantage (e.g. ITIL CompTIA Security Certified Sales Professional)
Experience
35 years of progressive experience in account management business development or B2B sales
Experience within the IT telecommunications or cybersecurity industry is preferred
Demonstrated track record of managing client portfolios and achieving or exceeding revenue targets
Experience selling to government institutions financial services organisations or enterprise clients is a strong advantage
Familiarity with the Ghanaian and West African business environment
Technical Skills
Working knowledge of cybersecurity services and solutions (managed security threat detection incident response compliance)
Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce HubSpot Zoho CRM or equivalent)
Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) and Google Workspace
Ability to prepare and deliver client presentations and proposals
