Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Head to lead and optimize manufacturing operations for a reputable Kolkata-based company specializing in eco-friendly jute and cotton bags. This role is critical in ensuring seamless production flow adherence to quality standards and timely delivery of bulk export orders. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving operational efficiency reducing waste and supporting the companys mission of delivering sustainable packaging solutions to domestic and international markets. Reporting to senior management the Production Head will oversee all stages of production from cutting to packing while ensuring compliance with export schedules and quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily and monthly production targets to meet client demands.
- Oversee the smooth operation of cutting stitching finishing and packing units.
- Monitor production efficiency output levels and material wastage to drive cost savings.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to uphold product standards across all batches.
- Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of orders in alignment with export timelines.
- Manage workforce planning team supervision and performance evaluation for production staff.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
Requirements
- 69 years of progressive experience in textile jute bag manufacturing or export-oriented production environments.
- Proven expertise in production planning factory operations and supply chain coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large production teams effectively.
- Strong track record in handling high-volume export orders and meeting strict deadlines.
- Excellent leadership decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
