Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Fleet Manager / Fleet Maintenance Technician to oversee the condition maintenance and readiness of our Amazon delivery fleet. This role is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance minor repairs inspections and general upkeep to ensure all delivery vans remain safe reliable and operational for daily routes.

This position includes being a delivery driver. You will routinely complete routes and rescues for delivery of packages.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined comfortable working directly on vehicles and capable of identifying and addressing common maintenance issues. This position will also provide support to drivers when vehicle-related issues occur in the field. When fleet maintenance tasks are minimal this role will assist operations by completing Amazon delivery routes to support daily logistics and ensure smooth delivery operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Maintenance & Repairs

Perform hands-on maintenance repairs and general upkeep on delivery vehicles to ensure they remain safe and operational.

Complete routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes tire changes light replacements and minor mechanical repairs.

Inspect vehicles regularly to identify mechanical issues damage or safety concerns.

Repair adjust or replace vehicle components such as mirrors lights tires and sliding door hardware as needed.

Maintain tools equipment and supplies required for basic fleet maintenance.

Keep accurate records of vehicle inspections repairs and maintenance activities.

Fleet Readiness & Operations

Ensure vehicles are clean organized and ready for daily delivery operations.

Monitor the condition and availability of all fleet vehicles.

Remove vehicles from service when necessary and coordinate repairs to return them to operation quickly.

Support overall fleet organization vehicle staging and operational readiness.

Driver & Field Support

Provide assistance to drivers experiencing vehicle issues during delivery routes.

Respond to field situations when vehicles require basic troubleshooting recovery or assistance.

Operate recovery equipment including vehicle winches when needed to assist vans in difficult situations.

Operational Support

Assist with Amazon package delivery routes when fleet maintenance tasks are minimal.

Safely operate delivery vehicles while following company and Amazon DSP safety standards.

Required Skills:

QUALIFICATIONS: 21 years of age or older. Possess a valid drivers license (Commercial Drivers license NOT required). No more than 2 accidents/tickets/infractions in 3 years (Driving Record). Pass Pre-employment drug test (4 Panel Drug Test Marijuana ok). Ability to lift push pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds each. Great attitude and energy.
