The Diagnostic Account Manager is responsible for providing diagnostic and scientific support for biomarker testing associated with AstraZenecas marketed products to a variety of stakeholders across the multi-disciplinary medical team like pathologists molecular biologists lab technicians geneticists genetic counsellors and addition the Diagnostic Account Manager is responsible to support the testing referrals axis between the referring physician diagnostic lab and billing department.

This position works closely with marketing sales medical and market access functions in order to define the best pre-launch launch and post launch strategies

The Diagnostic Account Manager demonstrates value by generating insights by strategic partnering stakeholders and maintenance of a high-quality testing infrastructure

This position is field-based. Often travels around whole Poland are required on that position.

Main tasks/ key accountabilities:

  • Diagnostic/scientific expertise for biomarker testing associated with the respective AZ brands (BRCA HRD EGFR PD-L1 etc)
  • Generate diagnostics-related insights
  • Identify issues in current testing landscape and working with external stakeholders to develop solutions to remove or minimize diagnostic barriers to therapy use while monitoring tests dynamics and stats
  • Execute educational initiatives consistent with the local diagnostic plan stakeholders training landscape preparations for new tests increasing awareness for the test maximizing testing rate and tests quality (reduce false results)
  • Act as an educational resource to internal colleagues in the cross-functional team (medical marketing sales)

Skills and other capabilities:

Education and Experience:

  • University degree in life sciences or equivalent. Higher degree in life sciences is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of molecular biology pathology diagnostics platforms and/or biomarker testing in oncology
  • Experience within the diagnostic industry advantage
  • Polish fluent oral and written is a must
  • Valid EU Diving License B category is a must
