- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items under the guidance of senior chefs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following sanitation and food safety standards
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including chopping peeling and marinating
- Assist in preparation of dishes
- Follow recipes and specifications to ensure consistency and quality
- Handle kitchen equipment and utensils safely and effectively
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely production
- Attend training sessions and workshops to improve culinary skills
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
- Comply with HACCP protocols
Qualifications :
- Prior experience as a Kitchen Commis Chef or similar role is preferred
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn and develop culinary skills
- Basic knowledge of different cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Fluency in English both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Professional culinary training or certification is a plus
- Ability to work in Greece / EU
