Job Summary

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following sanitation and food safety standards
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including chopping peeling and marinating
  • Assist in preparation of dishes
  • Follow recipes and specifications to ensure consistency and quality
  • Handle kitchen equipment and utensils safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely production
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to improve culinary skills
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Comply with HACCP protocols

Qualifications :

  • Prior experience as a Kitchen Commis Chef or similar role is preferred
  • Passion for cooking and willingness to learn and develop culinary skills
  • Basic knowledge of different cooking techniques and food preparation methods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Professional culinary training or certification is a plus
  • Ability to work in Greece / EU
