TEMPORARY MAINTENANCE I- Grounds Staff

The Horizon School Division is looking to fill a Temporary Maintenance I Position.

Duties:

  • Maintain landscaping and outdoor facilities
  • Mow lawns trim hedges weed whips weed control around school buildings
  • Ensure grounds are clean and safe for students and staff
  • Assist with seasonal tasks and special projects as needed

Hours: 10 hours per day 40 hours per week some weekends - schedule may vary; overtime may be required.

Wage: $22.14 / hour as per CUPE local 3203 Collective Agreement

Qualifications:

  • A valid drivers license and criminal reference check are required
  • Prior experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

This position will commence approximately April 6 2026 to October 30 2026 . Resumes including references are invited.
