Job Summary

A prestigious US law firm is seeking a Hong Kong-qualified Associate to join its China corporate team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will work on high-profile transactions advising clients on Hong Kong IPOs regulatory matters and corporate governance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on Hong Kong IPOs including drafting prospectuses listing documents and other regulatory filings.
Conduct due diligence and manage transaction processes for issuers and underwriters.
Liaise with regulators such as the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
Provide legal advice on compliance with Listing Rules Companies Ordinance and other applicable regulations.
Collaborate with cross-border teams on multi-jurisdictional transactions.
Support senior lawyers in client management and business development initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Possesses 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
Must be admitted to practice law in Hong Kong with experience at an international law firm or a top-tier local firm
Specialises in Hong Kong IPO transactions and related regulatory compliance
Strong understanding of HKEX Listing Rules SFC regulations and corporate finance transactions.
Excellent drafting analytical and communication skills.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
