As Head of Marketing you will build and lead a modern high performing marketing function that drives pipeline strengthens brand positioning and supports expansion into new markets.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer this role will shape the companys marketing strategy lead a talented team and ensure marketing is a measurable driver of revenue growth.

The opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to build a marketing function at a pivotal growth stage.

You will be responsible for defining strategy strengthening our demand generation engine and ensuring marketing plays a central role in scaling the business.

In the short term your focus will be on sharpening the go to market strategy for our new SKILLS product in Australia and strengthening pipeline performance.

In the medium term you will help position aXcelerate for international expansion as we bring our core platform to the United States market.

This role is ideal for a marketing leader who enjoys both strategy and execution and is excited by the challenge of building systems teams and processes that scale.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the companys marketing strategy to drive pipeline growth strengthen brand positioning and support revenue outcomes.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team across product marketing brand PR events and demand generation.
  • Own marketing contribution to pipeline improving MQL generation lead quality and conversion throughout the funnel.
  • Define brand positioning and messaging while supporting product launches and go to market strategies.
  • Partner closely with Sales Product and Customer Success to align marketing initiatives with revenue retention and growth priorities.
  • Manage the marketing budget agencies and performance reporting to ensure strong ROI and scalable marketing operations.

About you

Must have experience:

  • Senior marketing leadership experience 5 years within B2B SaaS or technology companies.
  • Exposure to international expansion or launching existing products in new markets.
  • Strong track record building growth marketing strategies that drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Experience leading and developing marketing teams.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI.

Nice to have

  • Experience in education technology or the vocational education sector.
  • Experience scaling marketing in high growth SaaS businesses.
  • Experience or interest in AI enabled marketing tools.
