Start Date: ASAP
Helper Rate: $20. 83 per hour
We are seeking a patient and compassionate helper to support an 82-year-old woman with progressive dementia. She benefits from gentle encouragement and supervision particularly with maintaining daily hygiene routines.
The main focus of this role is supporting personal hygiene and providing companionship during visits.
Care Responsibilities
- Assist with toileting bathing and dressing
- Providegentle encouragement and guidance with hygiene routines
- Offercompanionship and engagement during visits
- Ensure comfort and dignity while providing personal care
- 23 hours per visit
- 23 days per week initially
- Potential forlonger hours and long-term work if the care arrangement is successful
Ideal Candidate
- Experience caring for clients with dementia
- Strong patience and ability togently encourage participation in hygiene tasks
- Compassionate calm and respectful demeanor
- Reliable and consistent with visits
