We have an exciting short term opportunity available to join the EPA to lead the EPAs People Culture & Capability branch either at level or as a higher duties opportunity. The Director People Culture and Capability is responsible for the direction and strategy for the EPAs people functions as well as providing day to day operational advice and coaching to leaders and the team. As an organisation committed to growing as a great place to work there is a focus on developing and continuously improving Human Resource services reforms plans systems and policies consistent with employment and work health and safety legislation and guidelines provided by the Public Service Commission the EPA and the Department of Climate Change the Environment Energy & Water (DCCEEW) network. This role covers the full employee lifecycle from supporting Organisational Design Workforce Planning Talent Acquisition Employee Relations Wellbeing Health and Safety Learning and Capability Talent Management Succession Planning and Diversity and Inclusion.
You will be a purpose driven outcomes focused collaborative and passionate advocate for the environment communities and NSW EPA. You are passionate about creating cultures and supporting engagement to build a workplace where team members can thrive and supporting change programs to enable the EPA as stewards delivering through collaboration outcomes and empathy. You will be a strong and influential leader with a depth of HR knowledge and expertise.
The People Culture and Capability Branch supports our people and our leaders including through talent and succession planning culture and engagement programs talent acquisition wellbeing health and safety management systems and operational support and development and delivery of capability and learning including corporate technical leadership and team effectiveness programs. The Branch is part of the Legal Governance and People Division.
The Legal Governance and People Division provides a range of inhouse expertise and services including: legal advice litigation support; corporate risk strategic planning and governance; audit and assurance; and the people culture and capability functions.
