Role Summary
We are seeking an Email Marketing Specialist with 2 3 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) OR Adobe Marketo Engage to manage and execute email marketing campaigns for a pharmaceutical client. The role requires ownership of campaign build content configuration audience segmentation quality assurance and strict compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Independently build configure and execute email campaigns using SFMC OR Adobe Marketo Engage.
Manage one-time recurring and journey-based email campaigns.
Configure email content with personalization and dynamic content using approved templates.
Design and validate complex audience segments suppression rules and consent logic.
Perform end-to-end pre-send QC covering content segmentation and configuration.
Monitor campaigns during execution to proactively identify risks or issues resolve them within scope and escalate as per defined procedures when required.
Pharma Compliance & Governance
Execute campaigns in compliance with pharma regulatory medical and legal guidelines.
Ensure deployments occur only after all required approvals are completed and documented.
Maintain strict change control with no post-approval updates.
Ensure adherence to data privacy consent and opt-out requirements.
Journey & Automation Ownership
Build and manage Journeys in SFMC and Engagement Programs in Adobe Marketo Engage.
Configure and validate entry and exit criteria and audience flow.
Support optimizations as per approved changes.
Reporting & Documentation
Track email performance metrics such as delivery open rates clicks and bounces.
Prepare campaign summaries and execution status updates.
Maintain trackers approval records and documentation for audit readiness.
Required Skills & Experience
2 3 years of experience in email marketing operations within a structured or regulated environment.
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) including Email Studio Journey Builder Content Builder Audience Builder and Intelligence Reports.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Marketo Engage including Tokens Email Programs Default Programs Smart Campaigns Smart Lists and Reports.
Proven experience in campaign build content build audience segmentation journey execution and end-to-end quality checks (QC).
Proficiency in AMP script for email personalization and dynamic content handling.
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for building and troubleshooting responsive email templates.
Experience using SQL for audience segmentation data extraction and validation.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns while adhering to regulatory compliance and governance standards.
Good to Have
Experience supporting pharma or life sciences clients.
Exposure to global multi-market campaigns.
Familiarity with audit support trackers and ticketing tools.
