Performs the supervision of stress tests in the Cardiology department including Echocardiography stress and Nuclear Medicine stress exams.

Job Description:

MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with the Cardiology Stress Testing team.

  • Under the direction of medical staff supervise exercise and pharmacologic stress test exams in the Cardiology department. Stress tests include Stress Echo and Nuclear Stress Tests.

  • Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation interview and examination.

  • Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions as needed in the clinical setting.

Certifications:

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Maine State Board of Nursing Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Maine State Board of Nursing
