Senior Java Developer - W2 Role
Locations: Alpharetta GA & New York NY (Local Candidates Only)
Role: Java Developer
Experience: 10 Years
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java RESTful APIs Spring Spring Boot and IBM MQ Series. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in server-side development building scalable enterprise applications and working in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance backend applications using Core Java and Spring frameworks.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise systems.

Work with IBM WebSphere MQ Series for messaging and system integration.

Develop server-side applications using J2EE technologies.
-
Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning code reviews and continuous integration.
Required Skills
-
10 years of hands-on experience with Core Java RESTful APIs Gradle Spring and Spring Boot.

Strong experience with IBM WebSphere MQ Series and related frameworks.

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Development.

Experience building server-side applications using J2EE technologies.

Experience with database technologies (preferably DB2) including modeling and performance tuning.

Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.

Experience with JUnit Test Driven Development (TDD) Concordion and BDD using Cucumber and Gherkin.

Experience with Git Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
