As aSenior Technician (Electrical)you will be responsible for conducting a variety of maintenance activities (e.g. PMs breakdowns repairs rebuilding etc.) to optimize plant equipment and support the production of quality chemical intermediates energies and finished products to a pre determined operations plan. Performs specialized predictive and preventive maintenance equipment inspections; and troubleshoots plans and installs and / or modifies plant equipment and related systems in accordance with Key Performance Measure Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) safety/regulatory requirements and divisional goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Fill out and review Permit Cliqs (work permits) in conjunction with operation personnel prior to starting a job.
Ensure all lockout - tagout procedures are followed
Locate equipment problem and discuss potential causes.
Recommend practical solutions of technical problems.
Diagnose problems and repair VFDs PLCs motors with associated controls protective devices breakers fuses overloads relays conduit & cable transmitter calibration controllers switches and metrology.
Trouble shoot assess inspect adjust and make repairs as needed to facility flow pressure temperature and level instrumentation. It includes transmitter flow devices level controls temperature measurement.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks which include but are not limited to routine calibration thermography and ultrasonic testing
Other duties assigned by Freeport leadership.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years maintenance-related experience required.
Must be available to work weekends overtime (including coverage and standby) and holidays as required. Must be able to function/cross train in primary craft.
Knowledge and skill experience to diagnose problems and repair VFDs PLCs 480V 3 phase motors with associated controls knowledge of protective devices breakers fuses overloads relays conduit & cable transmitter calibration controllers switches MCC buckets and metrology.
