We are a mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP); building automation; and industrial piping contractor. Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation installation and specialty construction maintenance and air balancing start-up and energy efficiency services.

Job Summary

The Project Manager position is a critical role for the company. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for estimating setup and managing projects. Which will also include field management of construction and maintenance projects across multiple accounts. This includes planning directing associates managing activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Oversees and assists with various activities in the finance accounting and operations groups.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • In the field on projects supervise subcontractors and field associates to meet schedule and budget requirements. Interface with Project Managers and Clients to ensure successful completion of the project. Perform short term planning to ensure timely completion
  • Document daily occurrences using a Daily Report and submit to the Project Manager at least weekly. Complete timesheets P-card logs and expense reports weekly
  • Inspect all work daily for quality and compliance with contract documents. Document field changes on a daily basis
  • Request submit and track Purchase Orders and Invoices related to contractors and the customer where applicable
  • Communicate and follow up with contractors internal service providers and FacilityManagers in regard to proposals quotes project status and billing
  • Provide estimates to customers as requested
  • Manage all aspects of financial data related to projects
  • Communicate and follow up with contractors internal service providers and Facility Managers in regard to proposals quotes project status and billing
  • Provide client with backup detail for Project Close Outs Audits researching utility increase at specific client locations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 10-15 years related Electrical Project Manager experience
  • Must possess a valid driver license
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions including but not limited to safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations
  • Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specification. Microsoft Office Knowledge.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to commute to field locations. The employee must have the ability to navigate around job site locations

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
