Sales & Marketing Executive

Castlemartyr Resort is looking for a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Executive to join our sales and marketing team.

Knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential:

• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years experience in a Sales or Marketing role preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry
• Target focused and enjoys a challenging & fun never boring work dynamic
• Good communicator who enjoys meeting with new people and embracing new opportunities
• Creative thinker who is a problem solver not creator
• Self-motivator organised who can work independently but with clear direction from the senior management team.
• A proven track record in group and event conversion as well as achieving sales targets.
• This role will involve travel; candidates must have access to a car for work & hold a full clean drivers licence and be willing to travel overseas from time to time.
• Strong graphic design skills are a must have.

Duties include but are not exclusive to:

• Responsible for the development and fulfilment of the digital marketing strategy for the property includingmanagement of social media platforms in line with the differentiating target audiences
• Responsible for the creation of content for platforms in line with current audience and target audience and to promptly promote the segments of the Resort.
• Identify new leads and sales opportunities for the hotel
• Undertake weekly proactive sales calls/activities with clients as per agreed KPIs
• Promote and generate new business for transient corporate group and meetings & events segments and other segments as required
• Organise and conduct site inspections and FAM trips
• Represent the hotel at networking events and trade fairs
• Database management with focus on growing & segmenting contacts for better communication
• Maintain the highest level of communication internally and externally in line with the five-star hotel brand standards
• Assist with managing the content of the hotels website and social media platforms
• Manage email communication with the various segments
• Ensure all F&B outlets golf spa weddings and leisure centre are being presented to the market appropriately maximising sales and marketing opportunities for each of these outlets.
• Ensure that all promotional material is current effective and supports any new sales and marketing promotions.
