Due to a secured pipeline of large-scale projects and continued business growth we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our pre-construction team and play a key role in securing and shaping major concrete packages across Melbourne.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a high-impact position working closely with our Managing Director and senior leadership.

You will take ownership of tenders from initial review through to adjudication and structured handover ensuring submissions reflect current market conditions buildability considerations and disciplined commercial risk management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Tender & Cost Planning

Prepare detailed take-offs and BOQs (formwork reinforcement and concrete)
Develop labour plant and material cost build-ups
Analyse subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure scope alignment

Commercial & Risk Management

Identify commercial and delivery risks during the tender phase
Prepare tender queries and clarify scope gaps
Contribute to value engineering and buildability reviews
Participate in adjudication meetings with Managing Director

Pre-Contract & Handover

Liaise with clients consultants and subcontractors during tender stage
Support preparation of tender submissions and commercial summaries
Assist with structured project handover to delivery teams

ABOUT YOU

Proven experience estimating reinforced concrete structures
Strong understanding of substructure and superstructure methodologies
Ability to confidently interpret structural and architectural drawings
Experience with estimating software (Conquest CCS Causeway or similar)
Strong knowledge of Victorian labour plant and material market rates
High-level Excel capability and strong commercial acumen
Degree qualified (Civil Engineering Construction Management or QS) preferred
Australian work rights
