Job Summary

We are currently seeking Temporary Supply Technicians to support the Logistics Service at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. These positions will assist in maintaining the efficient distribution and management of medical supplies and materials that support patient care and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain inventory stock levels at primary and secondary supply locations.
Deliver medical supplies and materials to hospital wards clinics and administrative areas.
Receive unpack and properly store incoming supplies and equipment.
Ensure sterility and integrity of medical supplies.
Stock specialty carts and maintain supply shelves and storage bins in accordance with aseptic standards.
Assist with wall-to-wall and periodic inventory activities.
Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve supply issues.
Support general logistics operations as assigned by the Inventory Management Specialist.

Qualifications

Practical knowledge of supply management or inventory operations.
Ability to lift and move supplies up to 40 lbs (assistance available for heavier items).
Valid drivers license may be required for certain positions.
Ability to follow established procedures and maintain organized inventory systems.
Strong reliability and attention to detail.

Work Schedule

5 Day Shift Technicians
1 Swing Shift Technician
1 Night/Graveyard Shift Technician

Work Environment

Technicians will work under the supervision of the Inventory Management Specialist or designated VA staff and will support the logistics operations that ensure timely supply delivery for patient care.
