TheProject Customer Support Specialist Team Leadoversees the dailyoperations and performance of the Project Customer Support Specialist (ProjectCSS) team while providing administrative and operational support to the broaderproject team. This role ensures customer orders are processed accurately andefficiently vendor quotes are obtained promptly and items are expedited asrequired. The Team Lead serves as the primary point of escalation for complexcustomer or order-related issues and is responsible for guiding and mentoringthe Project CSS team to achieve departmental goals.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadershipexcellent organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining exceptionalcustomer service standards.

Essential Functions:

Provide daily leadershipguidance and mentorship to the Project CSS team.

Monitor team workload and delegatetasks to ensure timely and accurate order processing.

Foster a collaborativecustomer-focused environment that promotes learning and continuous improvement.

Train and support new team memberson company systems processes and service standards.

Offer coaching and feedback tosupport performance and professional growth.

Provide administrative andoperational support to sales and back-office teams.

Assist with new customer accountsetup and vendor onboarding within internal systems.

Support sales staff by obtainingvendor quotes and coordinating necessary information for transactions.

Manage complex or escalatedcustomer inquiries ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Oversee accurate and timely orderentry and documentation within company systems.

Manage approved quotes through thesales order process while ensuring proper documentation.

Assist with order entry ortroubleshooting as needed to balance team workload.

Coordinate with vendors to obtainpricing confirm product availability and expedite orders.

Regularly review Open OrderReports to identify delays or pending orders and take corrective action.

Assist with processing invoicesand project-related documentation.

Support rush orders to ensurecustomer expectations and deadlines are met.

Maintain accurate customer accountinformation and documentation.

Follow up with customers foradditional administrative information or documentation.

Collaborate closely with internalteams to ensure consistent processes and best practices.

Identify opportunities to enhanceworkflows and operational efficiency.

Communicate proactively acrossdepartments to support customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Perform other duties as assignedto support departmental and organizational objectives.


Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degreein Business Administration or related field preferred.

35 years of experience incustomer support sales support or administrative operations required.

Prior leadership or team leadexperience strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and teamdevelopment abilities.

Exceptional organizational andmultitasking skills.

High attention to detail andaccuracy.

Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiplepriorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving andconflict resolution skills.

Proficiency with CRM and ERPsystems (Salesforce and Prophet 21 preferred).

Advanced proficiency withMicrosoft Excel.
