Responsible for aiding and supporting the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations of a manufacturing plant
production efficiency and ensuring quality control while maintaining safety standards. Assistant Plant Manager will
also help with staff supervision and promote a positive productive work environment.

1. Manages direct reports and operation of all departments and guides Team Leaders in the performance of their

duties.

2. Maintains a personal presence in the facility regularly to respond to personnel problems and verify the

effectiveness of operational strategies.

3. Leads Lean Improvement projects and acts and the liaison between Lean Improvement personnel and their

respective groups.

4. Collaborates with Plant Manager and sets strategic goals and visions for the site as well as short and long

term goals.

5. Directs and manages the overall production plan for the operation including supervising the day to day

operations that come with implementation.

7. Promotes continuous improvement of the process

8. Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all operations processes so that finished goods meet

customer specifications and ensure maintenance of ISO compliance and standards.

9. Work with Production Supervisor to improve process scheduling

10. Knowledge of the workings of an ERP system
