What Youll Be Doing:

  • Provide application support including answering resolving and logging customer issues and suggesting long-term solutions.
  • Investigate and analyse system issues to determine causes and corrective actions.
  • Design develop and deliver system enhancements within budget timelines and specifications adhering to quality and industry standards.
  • Offer system knowledge and consultancy for divisional and cross-divisional projects ensuring business process requirements and best practices are met.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvement of systems and support processes.
  • Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date system support information.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity.
  • Provide clear professional communication to colleagues customers and suppliers.
  • Perform system maintenance tasks according to agreed schedules.


Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce Computer Science or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3 years application support experience including production systems.
  • Strong SQL skills (queries stored procedures triggers jobs); JIRA Service Management experience preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving technical and communication skills.
  • Experience with database systems reporting and queries; financial markets knowledge is a plus.
  • Eligible to work in South Africa.
