What Youll Be Doing:

Provide application support including answering resolving and logging customer issues and suggesting long-term solutions.
Investigate and analyse system issues to determine causes and corrective actions.
Design develop and deliver system enhancements within budget timelines and specifications adhering to quality and industry standards.
Offer system knowledge and consultancy for divisional and cross-divisional projects ensuring business process requirements and best practices are met.
Recommend and implement continuous improvement of systems and support processes.
Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date system support information.
Maintain data quality and integrity.
Provide clear professional communication to colleagues customers and suppliers.
Perform system maintenance tasks according to agreed schedules.

Requirements

What You Bring:

Tertiary qualification in Commerce Computer Science or Industrial Engineering.
3 years application support experience including production systems.
Strong SQL skills (queries stored procedures triggers jobs); JIRA Service Management experience preferred.
Excellent problem-solving technical and communication skills.
Experience with database systems reporting and queries; financial markets knowledge is a plus.
Eligible to work in South Africa.
