A vacancy has arisen for an AS1 to serve as Logistics Chef at RAF Wittering on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 27 July 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status).
Brief description of role:
- Responsible to the Senior Chef for services offered in all Messes and you are to comply with all Mess work instructions.
- Responsible to the organisation for the highest possible standards of food preparation production cleanliness and hygiene of equipment within your work area.
- Responsible for the production and correct packaging of packed meals baguettes sandwiches as requested.
- Ensure that temperature checks are carried out recorded correctly and rations are packaged labelled and stored iaw JSP 456 Food Safety legislation and Contractor regulations.
- The prompt reporting to your line manager of defects and work service requirements.
- The security of stores and kitchen premises at cease of work.
- Opportunity to assist in the delivery of Official Mess Functions.
