Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Lead the Basis resources providing support and making sure the SLA is maintained.
Provide guidance and expertise to the Basis support teams and upgrade/migration teams on the design implementation performance and architectural decisions.
Leading Proof of Concept and guiding team on new technologies
Installation configuration patching upgrades monitoring and performance tuning and troubleshooting of various SAP systems.
Coordinate and support systems in SAP RISE environment
Manage and satisfy SOX and other audit controls.
Effectively interface and collaborate with other infrastructure teams: server storage and networking
Participate in on-call rotation
Create and maintain team documentation leading to best practices.
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience in leading SAP Basis operations and architecture across on-premise AWS and Rise environments.
Experience in SAP cloud environment BTP and S4HANA.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
10-12 years deep SAP Basis Administration experience
5 years of experience working in a NetWeaver 7.0 or higher environment
3 years of experience in S/4HANA/HANA environment.
2 years of experience supporting SAP in Cloud environment solution manager SAP XI.
3 years of experience leading the Basis resources during production support and SAP infrastructure project execution
Minimum of three full life-cycle implementations (End to end)
Experience in databases and various operating systems. Experience with Enhancement Packages ABAP and Java stack administration including system copies.
Experience supporting SAP in AWS cloud environment.
Advanced level knowledge in managing SAP with HANA database with backup High Availability and DR solution.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal to include translating complex technical issues clearly and precisely to both technical and non-technical parties.
Understanding of SAP applications and their functionalities is an added advantage.
You must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel both in person and on the telephone
Must be able to pay close attention to complex details and understand written and oral instruction
Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively
Must be able to work well under time constraints
