Principal Site Reliability Engineer
What You Will Be Doing
As a Staff DevOps Engineer you will be a strategic technical leader defining DevOps vision across the organization. Youll own complex system designs influence cross-functional teams and set standards for automation reliability and scalability at enterprise scale.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Define and drive DevOps strategy across multiple teams and projects
- Lead design of large-scale highly available infrastructure systems
- Champion best practices in CI/CD observability and cloud-native architecture
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to align DevOps with product goals
- Evaluate and introduce new tools/technologies to improve efficiency
- Act as a subject matter expert in cloud automation and reliability engineering
- Mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Drive incident response and postmortem processes at organizational level
Requirement
- 812 years of DevOps/SRE experience with leadership exposure
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes service mesh and microservices deployment
- Strong background in automation observability and performance tuning
- Experience influencing technical direction across multiple teams
- Ability to balance hands-on engineering with strategic leadership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
