Engineer II Reg Eng India

Key Activities:

• Review of technical/project specifications from customer.
• Review / processing of Application Requests with proposal generation
• Technical support to operations.
• Selection of predominantly wet seals / systems and couplings and other JC products as needed closely working with regional customers peers and global product managers.
• Generation of engineering proposals / specifications for standard or special products including determining cost-effective materials for production
• Engineering includes review of Seal GA drawings fitment checks and carryout design calculations.
• Detailed failure analysis activities including full investigation / RCA / reporting / resolution with customer with necessary commercial awareness
• Produce complete and informative Drawing Office requests and provide applications guidance to CAD Engineers to complete layout (GA) and detail drawings
• Deliver basic technical training internally and externally to customers as required

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure project is executed to companys quality standards and customers expectations.
• Monitor & control project schedules and prepare project activity reports & required project documentation.
• Maintain excellent service and build good rapport with the front-end team and stakeholders

Qualifications :

• Education: University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• Experience:  5 years of professional experience in engineering mechanical seals & rotating equipment.
• Technical Skills: Application engineering for mechanical seal selection; CADD knowledge; Fair knowledge on using measuring instruments
• People Skills: Good team player; Confident Proactive able to deal with challenging situations in a credible manner
