Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a PRN Physical Therapist for weekend coverage.
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
- Review physician referrals and medical records to determine appropriate therapy
- Deliver direct patient care following established protocols and bestpractice guidelines
- Document evaluations daily notes progress updates and discharge summaries in a timely manner
- Oversee care provided by PT assistants and rehab technicians
- Establish goals and implement comprehensive physical therapy programs to achieve them
- Communicate clearly with patients caregivers physicians and insurance representatives
- Complete required reporting including workers compensation updates and incident documentation
Qualifications :
- Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current or upcoming Physical Therapy state of MI license and CPR certification
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
- Basic PC skills and knowledge including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system database software and MS Office
