We have 60 skilled nursing/rehab/memory care beds 12 private personal care rooms and 3 independent living apartments. Our mission is to provide exceptional care and support to our residents helping them to live their best lives.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist you will work with our residents to help them improve their mobility manage pain and regain function. You will play a vital role in our residents overall well-being and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for each resident
- Provide hands-on therapy to residents including exercises stretches and manual techniques
- Monitor and document residents progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in physical therapy
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards in your practice
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Working Hours and Compensation:
This is a full-time position with 30 hours per week Monday through Friday. There is no weekend rotation required. The salary range for this position is $44.08-48.44 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
