What Youll Do:

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist you will provide exceptional care to patients in an outpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting initial evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients needs.
  • Administering various therapeutic treatments including exercises manual therapy modalities (such as ultrasound heat/ice therapy and electrical stimulation) and patient education.
  • Educating patients on exercise programs posture correction and injury prevention to ensure long-term recovery and improved functional outcomes.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive patient-centered care.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet their rehabilitation goals.
  • Documenting treatment plans progress notes and discharge summaries in compliance with departmental policies and industry standards.
  • Providing excellent patient education to empower individuals in managing their rehabilitation and preventing future injuries.
  • Maintaining a clean safe and organized environment adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience: Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.
  • Licensure: Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state at the time of hire.
  • Education: A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients families and team members. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Patient Care: Ability to deliver high-quality compassionate care for a wide range of patients including those with orthopedic neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance. Requires frequent standing walking bending and moving patients during treatment sessions.
