The Opportunity

We are looking for a switched-on General Worker to join the Fulton Hogan team in our Golden Bay Maintenance Department. You will be a part of a busy supportive team where youll gain hands-on experience work on interesting projects and learn from highly skilled professionals. If youre like-minded delivery-driven and ready to take your skills to the next level we want to hear from you!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team within Fulton Hogan Golden Bay. You will be a motivated reliable and positive team player.

The right candidate will be able to:

Understand and embrace our Living Safely approach.
Operate heavy vehicles and other road construction equipment including general maintenance to best practice.
Take personal responsibility for the safety of your workmates the environment public and yourself.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job and work instruction.

What youll bring to the table

Preferably have some construction experience
Minimum of Class 1 Class 2 would be desirable and preferably with WTR
Ability to be rostered on call
Have a moderate level of fitness happy to get hands-on and willing to get the job done
Good communication skills
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
