The Opportunity
We are looking for a switched-on General Worker to join the Fulton Hogan team in our Golden Bay Maintenance Department. You will be a part of a busy supportive team where youll gain hands-on experience work on interesting projects and learn from highly skilled professionals. If youre like-minded delivery-driven and ready to take your skills to the next level we want to hear from you!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team within Fulton Hogan Golden Bay. You will be a motivated reliable and positive team player.
The right candidate will be able to:
- Understand and embrace our Living Safely approach.
- Operate heavy vehicles and other road construction equipment including general maintenance to best practice.
- Take personal responsibility for the safety of your workmates the environment public and yourself.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job and work instruction.
What youll bring to the table
- Preferably have some construction experience
- Minimum of Class 1 Class 2 would be desirable and preferably with WTR
- Ability to be rostered on call
- Have a moderate level of fitness happy to get hands-on and willing to get the job done
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
