DescriptionChubb Life Global is seeking a strategic and change-oriented leader to serve as the Head of Data Portfolio. This role will oversee the portfolio of data transformation initiatives across 8 Asian markets driving organizational change fostering Agile ways of working and ensuring that data programs deliver measurable business value. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of data initiatives championing change management and embedding Agile principles to accelerate delivery and adoption. Deep knowledge of the data management lifecycle and strong stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
Program Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the planning prioritization and execution of a portfolio of data transformation initiatives ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
- Embed Agile methodologies and practices across data teams promoting iterative delivery cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain portfolio governance including clear visibility of program status risks dependencies and value delivery.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning retrospectives stand-ups) and coach teams on Agile best practices.
Change Management and Organizational Adoption
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies to drive adoption of new data processes tools and technologies across the organization.
- Act as a change champion communicating the vision benefits and progress of data initiatives to all levels of the business.
- Identify and address resistance to change leveraging stakeholder engagement and targeted interventions to ensure successful adoption.
- Provide training support and resources to business and technical teams to build data literacy and foster a data-driven culture.
Stakeholder Management & Accountability

- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate the value delivered by the data portfolio.
Data Management Lifecycle
- Ensure all portfolio initiatives adhere to best practices in data management including governance quality integration and security.
- Advocate for continuous improvement in data management processes and standards across the organization.
Change Management & Communication
- Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption of new data processes tools and technologies.
- Communicate program vision objectives and progress to all levels of the organization ensuring buy-in and engagement.
- Provide training support and guidance to business and technical teams as needed.
Qualifications- 15 years of experience in portfolio management change management or program delivery with a proven track record in complex data transformation initiatives.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience embedding Agile ways of working in large multinational organizations.
- Strong knowledge of the data management lifecycle including governance quality integration and security.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on delivering measurable business impact through data-driven initiatives.
- Expertise in change management frameworks and tools (e.g. Prosci ADKAR Kotter).
- Experience in the insurance industry or financial services is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data transformation tools methodologies and platforms (e.g. Azure Databricks Snowflake) is a plus.
- Agile certification (e.g. Scrum Master Agile Coach) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Be responsive to stakeholders and counterparts.
- Uses clear language precise and straightforward and explain complex topics concisely
