Research Assistant Professor Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration

Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref:.536128)to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a PhD in Mental Health Psychology Clinical Psychology Social Work or other related disciplines. They should have (i) a track record of publications; (ii) excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese including Cantonese; (iii) strong problem-solving organisational and administrative abilities; and (iv) attend to detail with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Prior experience in postdoctoral research project management coordinating and delivering and professional training within the field of mental health-related research would be an advantage.

The appointee will work in the HKJC-funded project mental health project. The position offers an excellent opportunity for academic publications building research partnerships with international researchers and local mental health service providers and learning the implementation of amental health research project. Those with less experience in publications and project management may be considered for the post of Postdoctoral Fellow.
