Job Summary
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning development and maintenance of the companys data platform and related solutions.
Design build and automate scalable data pipelines and streaming processes.
Develop and manage data models and schemas to support seamless data integration and analytics.
Monitor ETL/ELT processes by establishing performance metrics proactively identifying issues and implementing optimizations to improve efficiency across the data lifecycle.
Collaborate with data analysts data stewards and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Assess and recommend data tools based on performance scalability and alignment with business needs.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years experience in data engineering.
Strong proficiency in SQL is essential.
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse; Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is a plus.
Practical experience in programming languages such as PySpark Python R Java or Scala for data engineering tasks.
Proven experience in designing and deploying data solutions on cloud platforms particularly Microsoft Azure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Good command of both written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel when required.
Self-motivated adaptable well-organized and comfortable working in dynamic or ambiguous environments.
