Assembly Engineer - Contract

DISHER is seeking an experienced Assembly Engineer for our customer in Portage MI. They are a global leader in medical technologies and are driven to make healthcare better.

What you will get to do:

Complete assigned work packages that contribute to assembly readiness and throughput.
Coordinate with project leaders and engineers to ensure tasks are completed on time and in alignment with project objectives.
Document progress issues and task completion as required.
Assist with day-to-day engineering needs across multiple assembly lines.
Troubleshoot production issues under the guidance of engineering staff.
Support operational improvements such as process adjustments documentation updates and minor equipment or tooling needs.
Maintain open communication with line operators and engineering partners to ensure smooth sustained operations.

Adhere to safety quality and operational standards.
Demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Mechanical Engineering skills
Experience with Solidworks AutoCAD MasterControl Valgensis and OnePPM
3-5 years experience
100% onsite
