Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the enhancement of a Child Support System migrating from a legacy mainframe to a modern web-based platform. This role focuses on improving usability scalability and compliance while working in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will facilitate cross-functional collaboration manage project timelines and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle project planning and execution ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
- Oversee technology modernization and system integration driving quality assurance efforts.
- Proactively manage risks issues and dependencies implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Maintain budget oversight and resource forecasting for project stability.
- Communicate project status and updates clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of project leadership and delivery experience in complex IT projects.
- Expertise in managing large-scale technology modernization and legacy system migrations.
- Proficient in planning forecasting budgeting and resource estimation.
- Strong background in risk issue and change management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA Microsoft Project).
