Job Summary
Description
- Insure compliance with government and safety regulations and company safe working practices
- Effectively lead and direct 10 Maintenance Technicians
- Monitor measure and improve predictive and preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime
- Evaluate and develop core competencies of Maintenance staff
- Monitor analyze and report on key performance metrics for department
- Manage projects utilizing internal and third party resources and reports on status to milestones
- Plans and directs activities related to design modification and maintenance of equipment
- Senior Maintenance Tech knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated understanding of maintenance productivity and budget metrics
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Proven project management skills and experience
- Good organizational skills analytical ability written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to relate to all levels of the organization
- Ability to balance use of internal and 3rd party resources to accomplish objectives
- Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and other enterprise software for purchasing and Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Previous experience with heavy industrial plant maintenance including hydraulics pumps electrical and PLCs strongly preferred
- High School diploma or GED required
- Maintenance knowledge and related experience
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving whole body such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping and handling materials.
- Ability to participate in respiratory management program
