Frontend Engineer – React & 3D Visualization

Job Title: Frontend Engineer React & 3D Visualization
Hybrid (3 days remote) Toronto Canada
Experience: 3 to 5 Years
Rate: 45 CAD to 50 CAD per hour

Role Summary
We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work on building interactive and visually rich user interfaces for a next-generation construction intelligence platform. You will create modular UI components that adapt to real-time data and different user roles using modern frontend technologies and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build modular and reusable UI components using React and TypeScript
• Develop interactive interfaces that adapt to real-time construction site data and user roles
• Integrate frontend components with 3D building viewers to provide spatial context
• Create data visualizations such as time-series charts heat maps and progress dashboards
• Develop knowledge graph visualizations with bidirectional highlighting linked to 3D views
• Build responsive UI experiences optimized for tablet and iPad usage on construction sites
• Create a timeline and schedule exploration tools to track construction progress
• Implement document and specification viewers with contextual highlighting
• Work with the UX Research Lead to turn design concepts into functional UI components
• Build demo applications for research initiatives and conference showcases
• Ensure components are modular reusable and easy to deploy independently

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience building front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience working with WebGL for 3D visualization
• Experience using data visualization libraries such as Recharts or Highcharts
• Strong skills in building responsive UIs for tablet and iPad interfaces
• Experience working with AI-assisted UX or AI-driven UI generation workflows
• Ability to design adaptive interfaces for dynamic and unpredictable user interactions

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with construction architecture engineering or AEC-related applications
• Experience working with real-time data streaming using WebSockets or similar technologies
