As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol in Olympia WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech and telecom location you will conduct routine foot patrols maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents and support access control and badge processes. You will use a computer or tablet to document activity communicate clearly with teams and visitors and deliver a customer-first experience. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees contractors and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and service requests in a calm problem-solving manner communicating clearly with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying authorization directing visitors to sign-in procedures and monitoring delivery and contractor activity per site requirements.
• Document patrol activity incidents and observations in daily reports and incident reports and notify supervision of issues requiring follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
