As a Security Officer Flex Armed Rover in Braintree MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a government location by following post orders site-specific policies and/or emergency response procedures while performing armed duties in accordance with licensing and training requirements.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and verify identification visitor authorization and/or deliveries according to site procedures; maintain visitor and vehicle logs as required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation notifying appropriate personnel and/or requesting law enforcement or medical support when needed.
- Complete detailed incident reports daily activity logs and/or other required documentation; communicate observations and handoffs to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 years of security experience.
- Have 1 years of armed security and/or law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Have a DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR an Associates Degree and/or 60 college credits OR a Police Academy Certificate OR a Corrections Academy Certificate.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
