Your Role in Our Mission:

A Chapter Development Manager is part of the Chapter Development Team and is broadly charged with continuously improving the member experience through the ongoing development and health of Alpha Gamma Delta collegiate chapters. A Chapter Development Manager works with fellow Chapter Development Managers and volunteer partners to continuously analyze define and meet the varying needs of chapters and their members. Your success will be defined by your ability to produce quality work against hard deadlines build collaborative and productive relationships with staff volunteers and members and be committed to meet the needs of a growing changing organization.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Oversee the support evaluation and development of the collegiate chapter functions including but not limited to:
    • The development of resources to support various areas of collegiate chapter development
    • The assessment of collegiate programs such as the biannual awards process Good Standing and Chapter Status
    • The implementation of Chapter Growth Development and Experience Plans
    • The administration of collegiate member statistics and reports in partnership with the Chapter Services Specialist
  • Partner with fellow Chapter Development Managers to implement an effective collegiate chapter servicing strategy that focuses on the experience and development of collegiate chapters
  • Partner with Fraternity Wellness Team to:
  • Evaluate the impact of Alpha Gamma Deltas chapter development efforts and interventions and provide regular reports on statistics and trends to the Director of Chapter Development and Director of Member Experience
  • Collaborate with team members to execute chapter development initiatives and processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus professionals regional leadership associations and pertinent professional groups
  • Travel as a representative of the Fraternity as needed

You Are:

  • An excellent communicator in the English language both written and verbal with strong ability to help people understand the why and see their role in the bigger picture

  • A team player able to collaborate closely with others while exhibiting a positive attitude
  • Able to demonstrate sound decision-making in high-pressure conditions with minimal oversight
  • Detail-oriented organized and confident with the ability to generate solutions and creatively solve problems
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Three to five years experience in related fields such as higher education or nonprofit preferred
  • Experience in customer/client facing roles preferred
  • Membership in Alpha Gamma Delta preferred but not required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook and Teams
  • Ability and willingness to travel as a representative of the Fraternity when needed
  • Must be able and willing to lift and carry items 35-50 lbs. occasionally

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degreerequired
  • Three to five years experience in related fieldssuch as higher education or nonprofitpreferred
  • Experience in customer/client facing rolespreferred
  • Membership in Alpha Gamma Delta preferred but notrequired
  • Proficient with MicrosoftOffice includingExcel Word PowerPointOutlookand Teams
  • Ability and willingness to travel as a representative of the Fraternity when needed

Job-Status: Full-time salaried exempt

Reports to:Director of Member Experience
