Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Lead multiple New Product Development (NPD) projects and ongoing product improvement initiatives throughout the full development cycle.
- Design optimize and qualify HVAC systems using advanced analytical and experimental methods.
- Maintain and update engineering drawings standards and specifications.
- Manage product qualification and agency compliance testing programs.
- Identify and implement opportunities for reliability growth and productivity improvements.
- Perform analytical studies using state-of-the-art simulation tools.
- Ensure design quality with thorough calculations and well-supported design proposals.
- Provide support to manufacturing sales & marketing quality and supply chain teams.
- Collaborate and communicate with vendors customers and field personnel.
- Manage mentor and develop engineering and technical staff.
- Deliver presentations to both technical and business audiences.
- Participate in regulatory committees for equipment and system-level applications.
- Oversee supervisory responsibilities including interviewing hiring training performance management and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred).
- 10 years of design and project experience preferred.
- 3 years of experience leading teams preferred.
- Proficiency with advanced simulation tools computer programming languages and Microsoft Office suite.
