Role Definition:
Role at this level is responsible for all technical and management aspects of Construction & Commissioning HSE. This role supports and advises the HO & Site Management within Construction regarding all construction and commissioning HSE matters.
Key Responsibility:
-- Demonstrate Visible Leadership towards HSE implementation at Project Site and workplace in line with corporate vision.
- Provide technical consulting to the responsible LE project site / yard / office management with regard to HSE.
-Contractor Safety Management
- Ensure effective implementation of the HSE management system / standards and procedures.
- Elaborate on the suggestions for HSE improvement measures with regard to construction and commissioning
-To prepare Site HSE documents and support proposals.
- Develop update organise and execute trainings and education concepts for the LE team members and contractors personnel with regard to HSE.
-Coordinate with different internal & external stakeholders (team members site management proposal team subcontracting team top management global HSE team contractors vendors auditors etc.) for effective implementation of HSE Management System as applicable.
- Contribute to the implementation of the permit to work system (e. g. technical check of the work permit sheets incl. the applicable documents)
-Ensure implementation of IMS (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001) procedures as applicable.
-Prepare or review different HSE documents such as Risk Assessment JSA HSE Plan etc. as applicable.
-Conduct Site HSE Audits Contractors Safety Performance Audit IMS compliance audit etc.
- Prepare monthly HSE Performance Report
- Monitor the use of the required personal protective equipment
- Team management
- Monitor track and review the HSE performance of various project sites.
Education & Experience:
-Graduate in any engineering discipline (fulltime from recognized college). If Engineering is not in Safety discipline then Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS) from the state technical board / Central Labour Institute / Regional Labour Institute NEBOSH - IGC
- Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE Management System.
- Eexperience in Construction / EPC / Oil & Gas Refinery / Petrochemicals / Heavy Engineering Sectors as HSE Manager.
- Stron knowledge of HSE Management System
- Having knowledge of IMS (ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
- Must be capable to manage the site / module yard and Head Office work.
