Job Summary

Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of progressive estimating experience on large mining minerals processing or industrial infrastructure projects
Formación Académica Acreditaciones Entrenamiento.
Experience in Mining Infrastructure and Water Projects.
Experience in EPC and EPCM projects.
Degree or diploma in Engineering Construction Management Quantity Surveying Business or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience preparing CAPEX estimates across multiple project phases (studies through execution).
Strong working knowledge of AACE International Recommended Practices and estimate classification systems.

Utilize and support project delivery and estimating systems (e.g. EcoSys PRISM Oracle P6 Hexagon Excel-based models)

Share estimating knowledge and lessons learned across the organization.
Strong working knowledge of AACE International Recommended Practices and estimate classification systems.
Proven experience in EPC and EPCM mining projects in Peru.

Other Skills: Autonomy Entrepreneurial Spirit within work capable of working in a global environment.
Project Management Skills. Intermediate English Level.

Responsibilities:

Development validation and stewardship of capital cost (CAPEX) estimates for large complex mining and industrial projects delivered under EPC and EPCM execution models
Lead the preparation of order-of-magnitude conceptual pre-feasibility feasibility and definitive CAPEX estimates in line with AACE Class 5 through Class 1 standards.
Ensure estimates are developed using appropriate methodologies benchmarks factored and detailed approaches consistent with project phase and data maturity.
Develop and document estimate bases assumptions exclusions qualifications and methodologies.
Validate estimate completeness accuracy and alignment with scope definition execution strategy contracting approach and schedule.
Support and participate in estimate reviews peer reviews audits and stage-gate approvals.
Align estimating outputs with risk assessments escalation models indirects and allowances
Interface closely with Project Controls Engineering Procurement Construction and Commercial teams to ensure cost alignment across all disciplines.
Support development of cash flow forecasts manning curves and cost phasing aligned with project schedules
Provide expert input to change management trend analysis and cost forecasting as required.
Support development of cost risk assessments including identification of cost drivers uncertainties and opportunities.
Assist in defining appropriate contingency levels using deterministic and probabilistic methods.
Collaborate with risk management teams to ensure cost and schedule risks are coherently reflected in estimates
Act as a lead estimator for proposals studies and execution phases for mid- to large-scale projects.
Support vendor and supplier cost evaluations benchmarking and negotiation strategies.
Communicate estimate outcomes clearly to clients and senior leadership including confidence levels and key sensitivities.
