The Opportunity:
Were looking for eight (8) interns to join our Marketing team for a 4-month opportunity to support Vancitys upcoming 80th celebration. These roles will work within marketing working closely with event leads and cross-functional partners.
A typical day would involve:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of Vancitys 80th anniversary events including community celebrations member moments and internal milestones
- Coordinating event logistics such as schedules run-of-show documents vendor and partner touchpoints onsite setup and interactions with public/members on the ground
- Attending events to provide hands on support assist attendees and ensure a positive member and community experience
- Capturing content at events (photos short videos social moments) to support storytelling and social media engagement
- Collaborating closely with the teams in marketing brand events and community to execute initiatives on time and on brand
- Assisting with post event wrap-ups including feedback gathering asset organization and learnings documentation

You have:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program within an applicable field and eligible for co-op/internship opportunities
- An interest in events experiential marketing or community engagement
- Knowledge of marketing communications or brand storytelling
- Experience with social media and digital content creation
- A willingness to work in a highly flexible environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of attention to detail
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience or interest in event support community activations or experiential marketing
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram TikTok LinkedIn) and basic content capture
- Comfort using tools like Microsoft Office Teams or basic photo/video editing apps
- An interest in community impact cooperatives or purpose driven organizations
What Youll Earn:
This role offers a pay range of $27.85/hr.
