We are partnering with a leading Australian retail bank to recruit Customer Service Officers for a branchbased role located in North Adelaide.
This is a casual opportunity offeringwith four weeks of fulltime paid training ongoing development and strong longterm career progression opportunities within banking.
The important parts:
Pay:$30$38per hour Super Duration:12-month contract (potential for extension and/or permenancy)
Hours:Casual full-time hours with variable shifts based on branch issued four weeks in advance.
What you will be required to do:
This is a branchbased customer service role supporting customers facetoface in a busy professional banking environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional inbranch customer service
- Assisting customers with everyday banking enquiries and transactions
- Listening to customer needs and referring them to appropriate banking products or specialists
- Supporting daily branch operations as part of a small collaborative team
- Using internal banking systems to log customer interactions and workflows
- Maintaining compliance with banking policies procedures and regulatory requirements
To be successful in the role you will:
- Have proven customer service experience (retail or hospitality backgrounds highly regarded)
- Bring a genuine passion for helping customers (obsession with service)
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Show confidence curiosity and a willingness to learn banking products
- Have basic technical capability and comfort learning new systems
- Be flexible to work variable shifts across Monday to Friday based on branch requirements
- Prior banking experience is preferred but not essentialfull training is provided
