We have a permanent opportunity for a Level 2 Technology Specialist to join the START Analytics team within Data and Information. The preferred location for this role is Wellington but all IR locations will be considered.
Expert in designing and developing compliance and customer focussed solutions.

The START Analytics team is part of our Data and Information business unit. It has a keyresponsibility to support delivery of customer and compliance outcomes.
The team works in a networked way with our stakeholders to understand customer and compliance issues gather insights into potential options and then develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
As a Technology Specialist you will ensure the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions within a specialised area of expertise to improve customer experience and champion IRs customer-centric and intelligence led culture.

While no one day will be the same your responsibilities will include:
Configure and optimise software solutions focussed on compliance outcomes.
Analyse business requirements and translate them into system designs.
Work with databases system rules and workflows.
Create SQL queries to effectively retrieve data from a relational database.
Participate in full lifecycle delivery.
Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams and business units.
