Te mahi The role

We are seeking a Systems Specialist to join our Medical Systems portfolio where you will help deliver robust modern digital solutions that support medical dental and student placement teams across the University. Our Systems Specialists work in small agile teams within a tier 3 support environment providing specialist expertise across a defined portfolio of medical systems.

This role is well suited to someone with a strong background in information systems a proactive and adaptable approach and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

In this role you will:
Provide technical expertise in our Medical systems portfolio.
Collaborate with clients and vendors resolving issues troubleshooting and implementing system enhancements.
Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovations including SaaS & enterprise integrations.
Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials for internal technology teams.
Have excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate substantial experience in the management and administration of information systems along with:

A strong background in information systems management.
An ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills and dedication to continuous improvement.
Proficiency in system administration and change management.
Experience supporting an enterprise grade online presence working with vendors and technical teams.
Experience scripting to automate repeatable tasks SQL code analysis and troubleshooting.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

This is a permanent part-time (18.75 hours per week) position located in Ōtepoti Dunedin.

The appointment range for this position is $85057 to $92174. Top of range $97508 (pro rata)
