We are seeking a Data Science Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate a global team of data scientists within the Underwriting AI Risk cohorts team. This role is responsible for managing business requirements ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of advanced analytics projects and aligning resources to deliver on high-priority initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with global business partners oversee project lifecycles and drive the team to achieve business objectives while upholding Chubbs values and standard.

Ideal candidate for this role is someone with a strong education in computer science data science statistics applied math or a related field and who is eager to tackle problems with innovative thinking without compromising detail business insights. You are adept at solving diverse problems by utilizing a variety of different tools strategies machine learning techniques algorithms and programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Work with global business partners to determine analyses to be performed and manage requirements.

• Oversee and manage deliverables against timelines ensuring high-quality and timely project delivery.

• Present results and insights to stakeholders and implement data science models in production environments.

• Align and coordinate a team of data scientists to deliver on high-priority projects.

• Develop and deploy scalable and efficient machine learning models ensuring they meet business KPIs post-production.

• Build and maintain reusable tools to streamline the modeling pipeline and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Implement best practices for versioning monitoring and reusability of machine learning solutions

• Sound understanding of ML concepts Supervised / Unsupervised Learning Ensemble Techniques Hyperparameter Good knowledge of Random Forest XGBoost SVM Clustering

• 8-10 years of experience in delivery end to end data science models.

• Proven experience managing and leading a data science or analytics team including aligning team efforts to business objectives and fostering a collaborative environment.

• Strong project management skills: ability to manage requirements set priorities oversee deliverables and ensure timely and high-quality project completion.

• Excellent stakeholder management: experience working with global business partners gathering requirements presenting results and ensuring alignment with business needs.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for presenting results sharing knowledge and facilitating collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.

• Ability to ensure high standards of quality continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the team.

• Demonstrated leadership in driving team performance mentoring and supporting professional development of team members

• Experience with Databricks and its ecosystem is an added advantage.
