About the role-
The Life Plan Counselor is responsible for supporting occupancy and move-in goals for a senior living community by engaging prospective residents and their families providing education about available living options and guiding them through the decision-making and move-in process. This role focuses on building relationships managing prospective resident pipelines conducting tours and coordinating outreach activities to support the communitys sales and marketing initiatives.
What you will be doing -
Develop and qualify prospective resident leads through inbound inquiries database management and outreach activities.
Respond to inquiries from prospective residents and families in a timely and professional manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects to guide them through the decision-making process.
Schedule and coordinate appointments and community tours.
Conduct tours of available residences and community amenities.
Identify and present housing options that align with the needs and preferences of prospective residents.
Guide prospects through the sales cycle from inquiry to deposit contract and move-in.
Meet established goals for tours deposits contracts and move-ins.
Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions and sales activity in the CRM database.
Develop and execute personalized follow-up strategies for key prospects.
Track lead progress and ensure consistent engagement with prospective residents and families.
Assist with the coordination and execution of on-site and off-site marketing events.
Participate in outreach activities and networking events to build awareness and generate new leads.
Collaborate with leadership to develop marketing initiatives and lead generation strategies.
Maintain positive working relationships with residents team members and families.
Bachelors degree in Marketing Sales Business or a related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of sales marketing or business development experience.
Experience within senior living healthcare hospitality or real estate sales preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-up activities simultaneously.
High level of professionalism integrity and confidentiality.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Additional Requirements
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work occasional evenings weekends and events as needed.
Ability to perform light physical activity such as walking the community and conducting tours
